Thank you for participating in our weekly iPhone photography contest. The contest theme this week was Low Angle and any photos that had been taken from a low angle could be submitted. The standard of photography this week was superb, with over 300 fantastic low angle compositions. It was very difficult to pick the winners amongst all the great entries, but here are my personal favorites.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we featured a tutorial covering tips on how to create amazing fake miniature photos using tilt-shift apps such as TiltShiftGen2 on your iPhone.
By adding blur to the top and bottom of the photo, you can create the illusion that your subject is actually a miniature model or toy that has been photographed close up rather than from a distance.
The article gave step-by-step instructions on how to create a tilt-shift photo on your iPhone, as well as tips on what makes a good tilt-shift subject and how to compose them for maximum effect.
So the new contest theme is tilt-shift photography, and any photos that have been edited to make the subject or scene look like a miniature scale model can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your photos using IPSTiltshift tag on EyeEm. You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure I can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, October 12.

Thank you Kate and Emil. Your recent articles and interviews inspired my photo. As always, I learn so much from you. Congratulations to everyone else! I’m torn because I love all of the selected photos, but I have to say that Paul Moore’s photo really stood out to me. It’s beautiful.

Really happy to hear that! Keep up the great work 🙂 Paul’s photo is superb isn’t it.
